Can we control what we think?
There are some feelings or wounds from past that haunt us. Everyone
wants to get over the past and the things that changed our thought process. We
only think what we feel.
Question here is -
Can you control what you feel?
I would say YES!! Of course!! You are the master of your own
fate. You can control your thought process. I cannot say that it’s easier to do
so because there are 60,000 thoughts a day. You cannot control each thought that
cross your mind, but there are some best known practices that can transform your
whole thought process.
How to change what you feel?
It’s a day to day practice. You can start from the morning,
if you start your morning with a positive energy; you welcome positive thoughts
all day.
You can start your day thinking about the things or person
that makes you happy. Thinking about the last best thing happened to you. Thinking
about the happiest moments spent with loved ones, thinking about the ones who
love you.
You can adopt a pet. Animals are suckers for love. They love
you unconditionally. They will charge you with love every day, there is a lot
that you can learn from animals.
You can start your day doing something good. That includes
helping the poor, helping the needful, for example you can help an old lady
with her bags, greeting people with a smile. Have you ever tried this? Smile at
a stranger, they will reflect it back.
If you have something positive to think about, you will feel
that way. If you do any of the above
practice, you have 80% positive thoughts of your 60,000(total quota for a day).
The rest 20% will start fading with time.
